Events

Started in 2021, our all-inclusive women's retreats were created with a goal to build and foster a community that has traditionally had less access to ranching in an open and accepting environment. Attendees get immersive and hands-on experiences with our flock (including the opportunity to shear sheep, give health checks and more) while enjoying comfortable and rustic lodging, home cooked meals, unique activities and excursions!

COWGIRL CAMP 2023

Weekend 1: July 27-31, 2023

Weekend 2: August 3-7, 2023

**INFORMATION COMING WINTER 2022**

Held in the summer, Cowgirl Camp is your chance to experience the real mountain west first hand at Battle Creek Ranch, a remote and pristine cattle ranch on over 15,000 acres where Caroline cut her teeth as a ranch hand.

With limited cell phone service and no wifi, you can unplug and unwind as you enjoy Montana's high country to the fullest. In addition to sheep shearing and hoof trimming, the horseback trail ride through the ranch's "canyon" is always a favorite activity, plus there'll be opportunities to try your hand at wool felting and weaving, focaccia making, and more. We'll also take time off the ranch to attend the local rodeo, visit a historic bar, the nearby hot springs and more.

You'll stay in comfortable, cozy, and authentic log cabins hand built by the ranch owners and meals featuring Little Creek beef and lamb plus plenty of seasonal fruits and vegetables are prepared by our chef and served buffet style in the historic main lodge.

You'll stay in a rustic (but cozy!) camp setting near Little Creek HQ while enjoying delicious and hearty homestyle cooking featuring Little Creek beef and lamb plus plenty of seasonal fruits and vegetables to keep you fueled. Past activities have included copper jewelry making, hide tanning, yarn spinning, and more.
